About Thea
With a degree in Physics and over 5 years of teaching experience, I’ve helped numerous university and higher-level students excel in challenging physics topics. My academic background and real-world approach allow me to bridge the gap between theory and practice, making learning both meaningful and manageable for my students. I focus on creating a classroom atmosphere that promotes curiosity, problem-solving, and independent thinking. My students are encouraged to ask questions, attempt challenging problems, and learn from their mistakes. I’ve found that when students are engaged and supported in the right way, their confidence and performance improve significantly. Beyond tutoring, I actively engage in scientific learning and keep up with the latest educational methods and technological tools. This ensures my lessons stay updated, engaging, and effective. Teaching physics isn’t just a profession for me—it’s a way to inspire logical thinking and a love for science in every student I teach.

My lessons are designed to simplify complex physics concepts and make them accessible to students at higher academic levels. I begin by identifying the student's current understanding, then build up from there using structured explanations, visual tools, and problem-based learning. Each class is interactive, tailored to the student’s pace, and focused on both concept clarity and application. I specialise in teaching Electromagnetism and Waves—two critical topics that demand both theoretical knowledge and practical insight. Through detailed derivations, real-world examples, and past question analysis, I help students grasp field theory, oscillations, wave interference, and related topics. These sessions often involve solving high-level problems to build confidence and accuracy. I also provide dedicated support for assignments, lab work, and exam strategy. This includes guiding students through numerical questions, writing detailed reports, and mastering problem-solving techniques under time constraints. My goal is to ensure that each student not only performs well but understands the subject at a deeper level.
