About Elena
I’m Elena! I recently graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in Physics and a minor in mathematics. I have years of tutoring experience working with students from middle school to college, in virtual and in-person settings. I am patient and methodical with a focus on individual students’ needs and learning styles. I feel very grateful to teachers and mentors I have had throughout my life, and these people inspire me to be a safe and encouraging tutor to students of all ages.

I have experience tutoring math through the college level, AP and college physics, other science subjects, and ACT and SAT preparation. I am happy to help students with study skills, test preparation, homework assignments, and introduction of new material.
I have also worked with students, including those with ADHD, to establish organizational skills which improve focus and self-sufficiency. I have learned many organizational and study skills through my own rigorous experiences as a student and through the recommendation of others. It is very important to me that students establish strong foundational skills so that they can build the confidence and ability to take on future problems. Each student’s situation and skill set are different, so I like to get feedback to personalize tutoring as much as possible.
