About Kate
I have 13 years of teaching experience and hold a PhD in Applied Physics. My fascination with Physics began through a desire to understand the laws that shape nature and technology. Teaching has given me the opportunity to share that fascination while helping students achieve their academic goals.
My approach is based on patience, clarity, and adaptability. I enjoy presenting concepts in ways that match different learning styles and levels of experience. Helping students gain confidence while developing strong analytical skills is a key focus of my teaching.
Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading about scientific discoveries, engineering innovations, and developments in modern physics. These interests help me keep lessons engaging and relevant. Watching students grow from uncertainty to confidence is one of the most rewarding experiences in my career.

My Physics lessons focus on helping students understand the principles that govern motion, energy, forces, and the physical world. We explore mechanics, electricity, magnetism, waves, and modern physics using straightforward explanations and practical examples. I work to make challenging concepts feel approachable and logical.
Lessons combine conceptual understanding with structured problem-solving activities. Students learn how to interpret equations, analyse physical situations, and apply scientific reasoning effectively. Difficult topics are simplified into manageable steps that build confidence gradually.
I create a calm and encouraging learning environment where students can learn without fear of making mistakes. Questions are welcomed, and progress is supported through practice and feedback. My goal is to help learners become confident, curious, and capable in Physics.
