About Holden
My fascination with physics began through observing natural motion and questioning how forces shape the universe. I completed a B.Sc in Physics and later an M.Sc in Applied Physics, gaining strong foundations in theoretical and applied concepts. Over 7 years of teaching, I have guided students in building confidence through clear explanation and steady support. I believe effective teaching depends on empathy and adaptability. I create a calm learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring ideas and making mistakes. I take time to ensure concepts are fully understood before moving forward. Beyond teaching, I stay connected to physics through reading, simulations, and conceptual exploration. Teaching physics is meaningful to me because I see students grow from uncertainty into confident scientific thinkers who trust their reasoning abilities.

Physics becomes approachable when learners understand how physical laws explain everyday phenomena. My lessons focus on mechanics, energy systems, motion, waves, and introductory electricity through clear conceptual explanation. I help students connect equations to physical meaning so problem-solving feels logical rather than intimidating. Real-world examples and visual reasoning are used to strengthen understanding.
Lessons are structured based on the learner’s level. Beginners focus on motion, forces, and basic calculations with patient guidance. Intermediate learners strengthen energy analysis, circuit reasoning, and multi-step problem-solving. Advanced students work on derivations, conceptual depth, and exam-focused strategies. Each lesson includes guided practice and discussion to reinforce clarity.
Physics lessons develop logical thinking, patience, and structured reasoning. Students gain confidence in approaching complex problems methodically. My goal is to help learners feel empowered by physics rather than overwhelmed.
