About Myra
My passion for physics began with curiosity about how nature works. Over nine years, I’ve taught students across a wide range of levels, helping them transform uncertainty into confidence and curiosity into mastery. I focus on clarity, engagement, and fostering a sense of wonder, combining rigorous problem-solving with intuitive understanding. I tailor lessons to individual needs, emphasizing active participation, experimentation, and reflective thinking. My teaching philosophy is grounded in patience, encouragement, and a belief that learning physics should be both challenging and enjoyable. Beyond the classroom, I engage in physics outreach, research discussions, and science workshops. These experiences enrich my teaching, allowing me to provide real-world context and inspire students to explore beyond textbooks. For me, teaching physics is about equipping learners with tools to analyze, reason, and appreciate the beauty of the natural world.

Physics is the lens through which we understand the natural world. My lessons are designed to make complex principles tangible, intuitive, and inspiring. I combine clear theoretical explanations with demonstrations, problem-solving exercises, and real-world applications, helping students experience abstract concepts in action. From motion and energy to electricity and optics, learners gain both understanding and practical insight.
Beginners explore classical mechanics, forces, and thermodynamics, while intermediate learners engage with waves, electromagnetism, and energy transfer. Advanced students study modern physics topics, including quantum mechanics and relativity. Assignments focus on conceptual understanding, analytical reasoning, and experimental application. I encourage curiosity and guided exploration, ensuring students develop critical thinking alongside technical skills.
Beyond academics, my goal is to cultivate a mindset of inquiry and confidence. Students learn to connect theory to everyday life, understand patterns, and solve problems creatively. By the end of the course, learners see physics as a coherent, elegant framework for interpreting the world, rather than a series of equations to memorize.
