About Charlotte
I developed a fascination for understanding how the universe works early in life, which led me to pursue a Master’s in Applied Physics. Over 9 years, I have taught students of varying ages and skill levels, guiding them to approach Physics in a clear, structured, and engaging way. My teaching focuses on building conceptual clarity and practical application rather than rote memorisation.
I emphasise creating a warm and encouraging classroom environment where questions are welcomed, and curiosity is nurtured. My lessons often include diagrams, real-world examples, experiments, and stepwise problem-solving approaches. I ensure that each student feels supported in building both understanding and confidence in the subject.
Beyond teaching, I stay engaged with research developments, scientific discoveries, and educational strategies to keep my lessons relevant and fresh. Watching students transition from confusion to mastery, develop analytical thinking, and approach problems with confidence is immensely rewarding. My ultimate aim is to cultivate not only knowledge but also curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong interest in understanding the physical world.

Physics can be an exciting and approachable subject when learners see its connection to everyday life. In my lessons, I focus on mechanics, energy, thermodynamics, waves, and motion, presented through clear, step-by-step explanations. Students are encouraged to ask questions, perform simple experiments, and visualise abstract concepts to gain a deeper understanding. Each class is designed to strengthen analytical thinking and reasoning, allowing learners to confidently tackle both theoretical and practical problems.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s level. Beginners start with basic concepts of motion, forces, and energy, with guided examples and simple problem-solving. Intermediate learners focus on calculations, experimental interpretation, circuit analysis, and understanding laws in various scenarios. Advanced learners explore derivations, complex problem-solving, and exam strategies. Every session combines explanation, exercises, and reasoning support to ensure consistent progress while maintaining curiosity and engagement.
Physics lessons not only teach scientific concepts but also cultivate logical thinking, patience, and systematic problem-solving. Students gain confidence in analysing situations, making predictions, and applying their knowledge. My goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel capable of understanding challenging concepts, exploring their curiosity, and developing a strong foundation that extends beyond the classroom.
