About Isabel
Hi, I’m Isabel—a soon-to-be Physics graduate with years of experience as a tutor and teaching assistant since 2023. I specialize in making math and physics clear, approachable, and even enjoyable for students who feel like these subjects “just aren’t their thing.” My teaching style is patient, personalized, and rooted in real-life examples. I believe that anyone can understand complex topics with the right explanation—and I work hard to tailor my lessons to how you learn best. Whether we're tackling calculus, mechanics, or preparing for exams, I focus on building true understanding and long-term confidence. As a tutor, my approach is all about meeting students where they are. Whether you're in high school, college, or just brushing up, I tailor each session to your learning style and pace. A typical lesson starts by identifying what’s tripping you up. From there, we break it down step by step, using examples that make sense to you. Whether it's forces and motion or calculus and vectors, we build a foundation and layer on complexity in a way that feels manageable—not overwhelming.
What sets me apart? I don’t just explain things—I translate them into something relatable. My goal isn’t to get you to memorize; it’s to get you to understand. Since 2023, I’ve tutored and worked as a TA, and I’ve seen how the right explanation can change everything.
