About Ellie
I am a physics major with minors in computer science and mathematics, and I love helping students to overcome the challenges they face in difficult STEM courses. I have worked throughout college as a laboratory teaching assistant, and I have been leading homework help sessions for a physics course. I am excited to guide students to a deeper understanding of physics and math!

As a teacher, I like to start by gaining a complete understanding of a student’s goals and the challenges that they are facing. This way, I don’t spend time working with them in things that they already understand or will not need to succeed. I also think it is important to explain each step to help students to understand a full process in math or physics. Teachers who say “that’s just how you do it” have never been my style.
