About Theo
I'm an enthusiastic Physics master's student at the University of Edinburgh hoping to help others understand Maths and Physics and achieve the results that they want. I started volunteering as a tutor for disadvantaged kids in 2015 and since then, I have tutored a number of students across various key stages whether that be SATs, entrance exams, GCSEs or A-levels. Having achieved A* A in Maths and Physics at A levels and GCSE, I am well equipped to help others reach their goals.

My approach to tutoring is to first develop the student's understanding of material. Once the fundamental understanding has been acquired, the processes behind solving problems based on this material are covered. In practical terms, to develop understanding I will discuss with the student the relevant concepts, and then problem sheets and sample papers will be used to fully grasp the processes involved in solving the problems. Finally, I believe that it is critical to communicate with the parents so that they are aware of their child’s progress.
Subjects that I teach: Maths and Physics (GCSE, A/S-level, A-level, School entrance exams and SATs)
Online tutoring: I teach over Zoom, using the tools provided for interactive learning.
Lesson schedule: My timetable is flexible. I am able to tutor on weekdays and weekends, afternoons and evenings.
