About Alexander
I am a first year student studying Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London. In my GCSEs I achieved 6 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s (with 9s in Maths, Further Maths, Physics among others) and the highest grade (A) in the OCR Free Standing Maths Qualification. I did my A level maths in my Year 12 and achieved an A* and in my Year 13 I then achieved 3 more A*s in Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
I have always been incredibly strong in Maths and Physics, achieving very high marks on a national level through competitions such as the British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) and UKMT maths challenges. Through the BPhO, I was invited to a residential camp at Cambridge University due to my high performance and being in the top 30 of all participants from state schools.
I hope to help share my strong passion for Maths and Physics and to help you improve in your studies.

My classes are typically 1 hour on zoom but can be adjusted to student preference. I use a virtual whiteboard and aim to work through problems with you that you want to work on, giving an example to work through and then looking to reinforce your methods and approaches. My lessons are aimed at GCSE and A level students and I have previous experience having tutored year 10s and 11s for Further Maths GCSE whilst I was in Sixth Form, with multiple great results.
