About Andrea

I was a good student when I was younger, but not the best. However, during my undergraduate, I learnt how to learn, how to think, and I became among the best three student in my class. I then went on to do a PhD in Soft Matter Physics at the University of Cambridge and I am now a researcher at the Mathematical Institute, at the University of Oxford. I have 10 years of experience in teaching, both at high school and university level, having taught first, second and third year courses at Cambridge and Oxford.

About the lesson

I teach my students to think like scientists. My focus is on developing deep understanding, problem-solving skills, and intellectual independence — not just preparing for the next test. I help students learn how to learn, how to approach complex problems with clarity, and how to identify the key ideas that matter in physics and mathematics. These are lasting skills that empower them far beyond the classroom.
