About Keith
I am a married father of 2 children, the oldest of which graduates this year with a degree in Electrical Engineering from my alma mater, Marquette University.
When I was an undergraduate Junior at Marquette the physics department was short a graduate student and asked the undergrads if one of us wanted to be a T.A. I immediately said I would. That semester I had 25 mostly nursing students taking introductory physics without calculus. My office hours were packed, with students literally standing in the hallway listening to me going over problems. The next semester I was given two classes of mostly engineers taking physics with calculus. My Senior year I also had labs. After me, it became commonplace for undergraduates to be teacher's assistants.
Many years after that first class I met one of my students walking down the street with her friend. She stopped and asked if I remembered her. I replied that I did and gave her name as proof. In truth I surprised myself that I remembered it. She told her friend that I was the best T.A. she had ever had.

My teaching method is to explain a concept from as many different approaches as is needed. Each student understands things differently, and I seek the explanation that he or she best comprehends.
Presumably the student is in a formal class, so a typical lesson plan will follow the assigned chapter or material. I may determine that previous material needs to be gone over again.
If I have a talent, it is the ability to see confusion. I strive to find the best explanation that the individual understands. This requires listening and talking, asking questions and stating facts. Above all it requires patience.
My lessons are for High School and College level Introductory Physics with and without Calculus or just Calculus. Programming can be added if requested.
