About Peter
On credentials, I have a first degree in Computational Physics with Mathematics and I hold an MBA from Manchester Business School and I'm PRINCE2 Practitioner certified — but the most relevant qualification is that I use the mathematics and logical reasoning I teach every single working day. My aim isn't just better grades; it's students who walk away feeling that math and physics finally make sense.

My style is patient, structured and tailored to the individual. I start by finding out where the gaps genuinely are rather than assuming, then rebuild understanding from the foundations so it sticks, instead of being memorised for one exam and forgotten. I focus on the why behind each method, work through plenty of examples, and steadily hand over the reins so students can tackle problems independently and with confidence. I firmly believe there's no such thing as someone who "can't do maths" — only someone who hasn't yet been shown it the right way.
