About John
I have had ample experience tutoring both high school and college-level physics students struggling with introductory physics courses, both in individual and group settings, and have both worked with students struggling to keep up with the pace of their physics class to those looking to ace exams. I get it, learning physics is confusing, and often times even if you get the right answer it can be hard to understand how you even got there in the first place! In lessons, we will go at your pace and work on whatever you need to succeed. Physics shouldn't be scary, so in our lessons, no questions are bad questions.

A typical lesson will contain practice problems relevant to the student's learning needs and will break down step-by-step how to solve problems. Students may also bring their own material to work on with tutoring assistance and to gain a better understanding of their current coursework. Lessons will not only show students how to solve specific problems but also help them understand the broader concepts and intuitions necessary to connecting the mathematical world to the physical world.
