About Samuel
I am a physics student that took Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry A levels and curently studying a range of topics including Maths and Mathematical modeling. I took my maths GCSE early (to get an A*) and then tutored a GCSE student - taking them from a Grade 2 to a 6.
I have also assisted teaching in a top set year 8 class and a bottom set year 9 class.

My teaching style is based around helping the student to enjoy maths while learning how to approach problems and tackle them in the most suitable way. This involves showing an example of questions, helping the student through a similar question then getting them to try by themselves to see if they need to improve further. I base my classes around the specific topics the student needs to improve upon. I approach each topic by using past exam questions, textbook questions and textbook examples.
