About Charles
Hi, I’m a Physics student at the University of Warwick with a strong passion for education and a long-term goal of becoming a teacher. I’ve been tutoring on and off for the past five years, helping students across a wide range of subjects and levels, with a particular focus on Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-Level. My tutoring style is friendly, professional, and highly interactive. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each session to suit the individual — focusing on their strengths, addressing their weaknesses, and helping them build real confidence in the subject. I specialise in working through exam-style problem questions to sharpen exam technique and deepen understanding. My goal is to make sure students don’t just memorise formulae, but truly grasp the concepts so they can apply them in any context. Tutoring isn’t just a job for me — it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I find it incredibly rewarding to see students grow, improve, and begin to enjoy the subjects they once found challenging

My tutoring style is professional, engaging, and highly personalised. I focus on identifying each student’s unique strengths and areas for improvement, tailoring every session to suit their individual needs. Lessons are interactive and designed to keep students actively involved, encouraging them to think critically and ask questions. A core part of my approach is working through exam-style problem questions. This not only reinforces key concepts but also builds the confidence and skills needed to tackle real exam situations effectively. By focusing on technique, application, and understanding — not just memorisation — I help students make meaningful progress and achieve their academic goals. Whether you're aiming to secure top grades or just want to feel more confident in class, I provide structured, supportive, and results-driven tutoring that makes a difference.
