About Rayna
My fascination with physics stems from a desire to understand the laws that govern the natural world. This passion led me to earn a Master’s in Applied Physics and dedicate the past 8 years to teaching students of diverse levels and backgrounds. I focus on creating lessons that are clear, structured, and interactive, helping students connect theoretical concepts with practical applications in an engaging and memorable way. My teaching emphasises understanding over memorisation, nurturing curiosity, and encouraging independent thinking.
I prioritise adaptability and patience in my lessons. Through visual aids, demonstrations, analogies, and hands-on exercises, I ensure that each student grasps complex concepts in a comfortable and supportive environment. I encourage students to ask questions freely, explore problems independently, and develop analytical and reasoning skills that enhance their understanding of physics beyond exams and classroom exercises. Every lesson is designed to build both competence and confidence gradually.
Outside the classroom, I stay engaged with physics research, practical experiments, and problem-solving challenges, allowing me to bring current examples and relevant insights into teaching. Witnessing students progress from uncertainty to confidently applying principles, solving complex problems, and developing enthusiasm for the subject is incredibly rewarding. My ultimate aim is to inspire curiosity, logical reasoning, and a lasting appreciation for the structure, beauty, and patterns of the physical world.

Physics becomes engaging when students can connect abstract principles to observable phenomena in daily life. My lessons focus on mechanics, thermodynamics, optics, energy, waves, and basic electricity in a structured, clear, and interactive way. I use real-world examples, visual diagrams, and hands-on activities to make concepts intuitive and approachable. The lessons are designed to nurture curiosity, foster analytical thinking, and encourage independent reasoning while ensuring students understand the underlying principles rather than simply memorising formulas. Step-by-step problem-solving is emphasised to gradually build confidence and competence.
I adapt each lesson to the student’s level and learning pace. Beginners receive thorough explanations of fundamental laws, simple calculations, and conceptual demonstrations. Intermediate learners focus on multi-step problems, energy transformations, wave behaviour, and circuit analysis. Advanced students tackle derivations, applied calculations, experimental analysis, and exam preparation strategies. Each session integrates guided exercises, discussion, and feedback to strengthen comprehension, encourage critical thinking, and develop consistent problem-solving habits that extend beyond the classroom.
Physics education goes beyond formulas—it develops logical reasoning, critical thinking, and the ability to approach challenges systematically. My goal is to help students feel confident in their abilities, appreciate the beauty of natural phenomena, and develop long-term interest in the subject. Lessons are structured to empower students to tackle difficult problems, explore concepts creatively, and apply knowledge in practical and theoretical contexts with both skill and curiosity.
