About Valerie

My passion for physics began with observing natural phenomena and questioning the principles that govern motion, energy, and matter. I completed a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Applied Physics, gaining a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline. Over the past 8 years, I have taught students at various levels, helping them develop strong conceptual understanding, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.

I emphasize a teaching approach that combines clarity, patience, and structured methodology. Lessons include visual demonstrations, practical exercises, real-world examples, and stepwise problem-solving to ensure learners grasp both the concepts and their applications. I encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and independent reasoning to foster both comprehension and confidence.

Beyond teaching, I engage with scientific research, laboratory projects, and physics literature, bringing current and applied knowledge into the classroom. Teaching physics is immensely rewarding because I witness students transform uncertainty into mastery, developing analytical abilities and confidence in understanding the universe. Supporting learners in achieving conceptual clarity and intellectual growth remains my greatest professional fulfillment.

About the lesson

Physics becomes accessible when students can relate abstract concepts to real-life phenomena. My lessons cover classical mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity and magnetism, optics, wave theory, and introductory modern physics, emphasizing both understanding and application. I encourage conceptual reasoning, hands-on exploration, and critical analysis to make complex ideas approachable. Each session promotes curiosity, logical thinking, and problem-solving, providing a safe and supportive environment for learners to engage deeply with physics principles.

Lessons are tailored to various skill levels. Beginners focus on fundamental laws of motion, basic energy concepts, simple experiments, and visual demonstrations. Intermediate learners explore multi-step calculations, advanced mechanics, thermodynamic principles, and electrical circuits. Advanced learners work on problem-solving strategies, derivations, experimental design, and complex analytical applications. Lessons integrate discussion, practical exercises, and conceptual reinforcement to build confidence and understanding.
