About Opal
I hold a B.Sc in Physics and an M.Sc in Theoretical Physics, with 11 years of experience teaching students from varied academic backgrounds. My academic journey trained me to think deeply about physical laws and their mathematical foundations. My teaching approach is calm, structured, and learner-centered. Physics often feels intimidating until students understand the ideas that give meaning to equations. I explain concepts using real-life examples, diagrams, and logical reasoning so students feel grounded rather than overwhelmed. Each lesson progresses carefully, ensuring understanding at every step.
Students begin with core topics such as kinematics, laws of motion, work, energy, and momentum. As confidence increases, lessons expand into waves, electricity, magnetism, optics, thermodynamics, and introductory modern physics. I emphasize problem-solving strategies, diagram analysis, unit checking, and clear stepwise solutions. Regular guided practice strengthens both speed and accuracy.
Physics lessons also build patience, logical reasoning, and self-confidence. Over time, students become more comfortable handling complex problems and explaining their reasoning clearly. My aim is to help learners see physics as a logical and fascinating subject that they are fully capable of mastering.
