About Luciano
Science often begins with the quiet hum of a lab bench, where curiosity turns complex systems into meaningful questions. I am currently a PhD candidate in Chemical Physics at UC Berkeley, with 13 years of teaching experience. My goal is to make challenging scientific concepts approachable, engaging, and intuitive for students.
My teaching focuses on kinematics, graph interpretation, numerical problem-solving, circuit analysis, modern physics, and thermodynamics. Through clear explanations, step by step reasoning, and carefully worked examples, I help students develop a strong conceptual foundation and the confidence to approach challenging problems.
I believe science is best learned by asking why not simply by memorizing what. My approach encourages students to think critically, connect concepts, and develop problem-solving skills that extend beyond the classroom.
