About Gabriella
I’m a Physics tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Master of Physics (MPhys), specializing in biophysics and the physics of living systems. My focus lies in helping students understand how physical laws govern biological processes. From molecular motors that drive cellular movement to the physics behind nerve impulses and membrane transport, I aim to make these complex systems clear and approachable. My teaching blends theory with application, using real biological examples to bring abstract physics concepts to life. I work closely with biology majors, pre-med students, and anyone curious about how physics explains the mechanics of life. Biomechanics, energy transfer in cells, and transport phenomena are just a few areas I regularly cover. With each topic, I guide students to connect equations with actual biological behavior, reinforcing both understanding and curiosity. Students I work with gain more than just improved grades—they develop a new lens through which to view living systems. I create a learning space where physics becomes a tool for discovery, not just a subject to study. My goal is to support each learner in building both confidence and insight. Exploring the physics of life is a journey that reveals just how interconnected and beautiful science can be.

My teaching approach in Physics is grounded in building active conceptual understanding through clear, relatable examples. I focus on helping students grasp the core principles behind Newtonian mechanics, forces and motion, energy conservation, and other foundational topics. Every lesson is designed to link theory with real-world applications so that concepts become both meaningful and memorable.
I use hands-on problem-solving methods, encouraging students to think critically and apply fundamental laws in practical ways. Through diagrams, analogies, and interactive discussions, I aim to make complex ideas easier to follow. My sessions are tailored to meet individual learning goals, whether you're just starting out or revisiting Physics after a break. I make sure that each concept is fully understood before moving forward.
I work especially well with Career Re-aligners and Theorists—students exploring Physics for a fresh path or seeking depth in theory. They receive focused support to develop clarity, confidence, and strong problem-solving skills. Together, we build not just knowledge but the ability to think like a physicist. With the right guidance, you'll begin to see how the world moves, balances, and transforms.
