About the lesson

I’m a Physics tutor with over 8 years of experience and hold an MSc in Medical Physics. My teaching specializes in the physics of materials, with a strong focus on defects and phase transitions. I work closely with university students and researchers aiming to understand how atomic-scale behavior governs the properties of engineered materials. Whether you're diving into crystallography or exploring alloy design, I guide you through every concept with clarity.

In our sessions, we unpack crystal defects, grain boundaries, diffusion, and phase diagrams using clear visual examples and practical applications. For instance, when discussing steel, I show how microstructural changes influence hardness, strength, and usability. Students learn to see phase diagrams not just as graphs but as powerful tools for material prediction and control. We explore how dislocations move, how vacancies form, and why grain size matters.

I use a combination of interactive models, real-world case studies, and guided problem-solving to make abstract theories tangible. My approach is rooted in scientific accuracy but tailored to each student’s pace and background. I believe in building both theoretical depth and practical insight.
