About Blake
I am a Physics tutor with over 9 years of experience and an MSc in Condensed Matter Physics. My teaching focuses on environmental radiation physics, where I guide students through the complexities of natural and artificial radioactivity. I help learners understand radiation detection methods, shielding techniques, and the environmental impacts of nuclear waste. I have worked with students studying environmental science, health physics, and nuclear engineering, tailoring my lessons to fit their specific needs. My goal is to make challenging concepts clear and relevant through practical examples and careful explanations. I enjoy helping students see how physics plays a vital role in assessing and managing radiation risks. Together, we explore the science behind radiation and its effects on our environment. I support my students in developing the skills needed to analyze data and make informed decisions. Teaching this subject brings me great joy, especially when I see students gain confidence and understanding. Physics is more than theory—it's a powerful tool for protecting our world.

My physics lessons focus on exploring the frontiers of science and the deep questions about our universe. We dive into modern physics topics like relativity, quantum mechanics, and nuclear physics through careful theory and interesting experiments. Together, we discuss the latest research and think about what these discoveries mean for our understanding of reality.
I work closely with students who want to master these advanced concepts, helping them build strong knowledge and critical thinking skills. My goal is to make complex ideas clearer and more accessible, no matter how challenging they seem at first. I guide learners step-by-step and encourage curiosity and questions throughout.
By connecting theory to real-world applications, I help students see the importance of these topics beyond the classroom. You will develop confidence in tackling difficult problems and deepen your understanding of the universe’s most profound mysteries. I am dedicated to supporting your academic growth and helping you excel in these exciting fields. Together, we will explore the very fabric of reality and prepare you for future challenges in science and research.
