About Abdul
As a tutor, my responsibilities are to provide guidance and encouragement in a way that helps you in reaching your goal. I aim to build an environment comfortable enough where the student is safe asking questions and throwing a few jokes, but also a place where they are able to feel productive and see themselves grow. So long as a student gives their best, does the recommended independent study supplemented by sessions with me, they will soar. There is not a single student that does not have the potential to do well, and I’ve been shown that multiple times from my own students. It doesn’t matter whether their upbringing was complex or they have a history of poor academic performance. Put in the work alone and with me and we’ll make sure together you reach your goals and beyond.

Teaching Philosophy: Half a teacher’s job is to make the lessons helpful but the other half is to make them fun too. Being able to stay stern and not say anything but work work work might be okay for some, but a bit of humanity goes a long way in making a student WANT to work. Teaching Methodology: Lessons are tailored to a student’s abilities. Questions and discussion are encouraged with the primary focus being on developing an understanding of content deep enough to then tackle exam questions. Once that point has been reached exam practice is done to help the student develop proper exam technique and become familiar with common mark scheme answers. A student needs to perform on exam day, by prioritising content and encouraging the student to also study themselves, the content becomes memorised and understood. If content can be recalled, all that remains is for it to be applied. This skill is developed via the exam practice. Lesson Length: Around 1 hour long (1 hour minimum, may go over slightly).

I know Abdul from doing the same course as him at university, he often tells me about his lessons so I know that he is a patient and kind person who adapts to each students needs and strives to make lessons fun and engaging. He is well organised and dedicated, always making sure to put in the effort.
I know Abdul from my university class and time during A-Levels and GCSEs, I've witnessed first hand how students seem to grasp concepts at all levels much quicker through Abdul's style of teaching and explaining.
Abdul really tries to understand where a student might be struggling with a concept, by putting himself in their shoes - likely why his adaptable style of teaching seems to resonate much better than traditional tutoring.
Even first-hand, within Undergraduate Physics has Abdul helped me understand complicated concepts in Quantum Mechanics, Hilbert space and Dirac notation!
If Abdul can find a way of explaining a deeply complex and difficult topic like Quantum Mechanics, I have no doubt in his abilities in helping you succeed in your A-Levels or GCSEs.
Don't just hear it from me, hear it from the dozens of other students he has helped, proving his excellence and experience within academic tutoring.
Abdul stands out from the rest, undoubtedly.Abdul is one of the most honest and trustworthy people I know, always willing to go above and beyond to help others. He always puts his all into everything he does, which extends to his tutoring sessions.
His passion, dedication and extensive knowledge of maths and sciences can be seen in his commitment to his students, tailoring each session to ensure they receive the best experience possible.Having been good friends with Abdul for almost a year now, I can say with confidence that he is one of the most patient and kindhearted people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Since we are doing the same degree at university, he has explained complex physics concepts to me on countless occasions, often allowing me to understand things in a way that our lecturers could not achieve. With a deep passion for physics and a long-standing love for teaching, I truly believe that Abdul would be a perfect addition to the superprof platform.
He is an incredible tutor who really cares for his students. His dedication is unbelievable and works tirelessly even out of lessons creating and finding resources to help his students. He greatly supported throughout my gcses and a levels making me a Grade A student. There is no one better
