About Trinh
I love maths, and I want to inspire more of you to love it too.
Even if you do not plan to like it, I will help you to succeed in it!
I am a student at the University of Aberdeen which is placed 6th in the UK for Physics. Despite not having the highest grades ever, I still achieved decent grades and am enjoying my difficult course very much.
So with my guidance and experience in school, I can assure you my tutoring will help you succeed.

For primary children, I will supplement what they have learned in school and stretch them further. Introducing the idea of puzzles and problem-solving in maths, english and science.
For KS3 students, lessons will be based on learning content and how to think like a problem solver.
For these students, a typical length for the lesson would be one hour long.
For GCSE students, lessons will be centred around hitting each specification point for Physics, Maths, or both by looking at past exam questions and practising exam techniques.
So in every session:
1. We will go through any questions you have at hand or any problems you are struggling with from school homework or the tutorial sheet I set you
2. We will start with accessing your memory of what you have learnt in class that week, then I will spot the gaps you have and fill them in with you whilst highlighting where in the specification it is relevant
3. I will set you a tutorial sheet (composed of past exam questions) which you must complete before the next session, if you fail to do so, we'll just go through it in class.
4. When it is closer to exam season, we can discuss how you would like to structure the sessions, I would be happy to give a revision "lecture" or do a mock walk-through.
At the end of the day, I want your time with me to be as most useful as it can be.
So I am happy to change the structure of the session depending on your needs.
I want these sessions to be two hours long as this is the time to focus on upcoming exams and practise focusing for such long hours.
Overall for all students, in our first session together, we will discuss and set goals for every month to ensure that we are on track to succeeding.
I have not had any experience as a tutor so far however I have a younger sister who is doing her GCSEs and I have been growing up helping her with her mathematics.
