About Linda
Physics tutor with 5 years of experience teaching college students. Have taught around 200 students, helping many pass competitive exams and university physics courses. I am known for clear explanations and structured problem-solving approaches. I provide formula sheets and topic summaries for quick revision. I believe that physics is best understood through practice and real-world connections. I am patient and adjust my teaching style to suit each student's learning pace. Many of my students have shown remarkable improvement in their problem-solving abilities. I also offer extra support sessions before exams to ensure you are fully prepared. I am dedicated to making physics an enjoyable and rewarding subject for you.

My teaching approach for Physics is structured around the laws of thermodynamics and their applications. I explain heat, work, internal energy, entropy, and enthalpy using simple analogies and step-by-step derivations. I cover the three laws of thermodynamics in depth and show how they apply to heat engines, refrigerators, and phase transitions with real-world examples. I also teach kinetic theory of gases, including molecular speeds, pressure-temperature relations, and equipartition of energy, with derivations of key formulas. For heat transfer, I cover conduction, convection, and radiation with practical examples like insulation, weather patterns, solar energy, and cooling systems. I use diagrams to explain temperature gradients, isothermal processes, adiabatic curves, and Carnot cycles. I include numerical problems from past exams and provide solutions with clear reasoning. I assign homework that combines theory questions and calculations to build both understanding and application skills. I also conduct revision quizzes to ensure retention of key concepts. For students who need extra help, I provide additional worksheets and one-on-one doubt sessions. I also connect thermodynamics to everyday life, like how refrigerators work or why engines overheat, to make the subject more relatable. My goal is to make thermodynamics intuitive and easy to apply.
