About Jess
I have applied to do my Honors in Physiology this year. I have taught all ages from Gr 000 to Gr 12. I predominantly teach Math, but can also teach Physical Science, Life Science, and Geography. I have tutored since 2011. I have worked with many children with learning difficulties. I have also worked as a teacher at both pre-school and high school level. I have a passion for learning and I hope to develop that in the children I teach too.

I believe strongly in adapting my teaching methods to the child's learning style. I am also a firm believer in instilling a solid understanding of each topic, rather than just teach "shortcut" methods or rote learning. I encourage children to question until they understand. I have enormous patience when it comes to teaching children.
