About Briana

Hello! I’m an experienced pianist with over a decade of playing experience and a passion for sharing the joy of music with young beginners. My journey with piano began at a young age, and over the years, I've participated in numerous recitals and music festivals, gaining a strong foundation in both performance and technique. Now, I’m thrilled to pass along what I’ve learned to inspire the next generation of musicians.

As a tutor, I’m patient, encouraging, and adaptable to each student’s unique pace and style. My goal is to create a positive and enjoyable learning experience where students feel supported and motivated. I take pride in creating a structured yet flexible environment, blending technique, creativity, and musical expression in each lesson.

I’m dedicated to fostering confidence and progress in my students, whether they're touching the piano keys for the first time or building on a budding interest in music. With my guidance, students gain not only technical skills but also an appreciation for the music they create. I look forward to supporting your child’s musical journey with professionalism and enthusiasm!

About the lesson

I believe in a personalized approach, adjusting to each child’s pace and interests to keep them motivated. I emphasize a balance between technique, music theory, and creativity, helping students not only play well but also understand the music they’re creating. I incorporate games, rhythm exercises, and interactive activities to keep lessons engaging and fun.

Each lesson begins with a warm-up and review of previous material. We then work on new concepts—whether it’s learning notes, improving finger placement, or tackling a short piece. I aim to introduce one or two new elements per session to ensure steady progress without overwhelming young learners. Lessons conclude with a recap and a quick preview of practice goals for the week.

As a younger tutor, I connect well with children and understand what excites and motivates them in music. I bring a fresh, patient, and enthusiastic perspective, making lessons something students look forward to. My focus is not only on skill development but also on cultivating a lifelong love for music.

These lessons are ideal for beginners aged 6-12 who are just starting their musical journey. Whether your child has never touched a piano or has a bit of experience, I am here to guide them through the fundamentals, setting them up for success and enjoyment as they grow in their musical skills.
