About Roy
Music remains the primary focus of my life since childhood. Spending 13 years teaching means I understand exactly how to balance technical discipline with the simple joy of playing piano. Students typically perform with great confidence after just 1 term of study.
Instruction covers memorization techniques alongside essential accompaniment skills. We focus heavily on scales and arpeggios to build a firm foundation. I prepare pupils for grade exam prep including ABRSM and Trinity boards. Sight reading and music theory remain central to my pedagogical approach.
