I have an Associate's degree in piano performance and have been a piano accompanist for my church for 6 years. In high school, I have given piano lessons to elementary school age children as a summer job for 3 months.

I want my students to love playing music and even be able to compose their own. Music should be creative and a medium for expression, and much more than just playing the right notes. I will focus on the correct use of dynamics, speed and feeling. However, to make this all possible, I will help my students have a strong grasp on using the correct techniques in playing and have proficient knowledge in music theory.
