About Timothy
I am a pianist and piano tuner. I have played piano since I was 7 years old, and took music in college as well. I'm also pursuing a degree in mental health. I've taught music in the studio, as well as online.

I frame my approach primarily on the needs and goals of the student. I teach playing by ear/improvisation, as well as playing by note. I feel it is important to go the pace of the student. If he/she is very focused and goal oriented, then we formulate a more rigorous lesson plan. Students wanting to play as a hobby may want to take a more laid back lesson plan.
