About Daphne
My journey with piano began with a deep interest in melody, harmony, and musical performance. Through years of professional piano training and regular practice, I developed strong technical and expressive musical skills. Over the past 9 years, I have worked with students from different age groups and musical backgrounds, helping them strengthen their piano abilities and musical confidence. Teaching allows me to share my passion for music while supporting students as they grow creatively and artistically.
My teaching style is patient, adaptable, and encouraging. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adjust my teaching methods according to each learner’s pace and goals. I focus on building strong musical fundamentals, encouraging regular practice, and making lessons interactive and enjoyable. I also create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and expressing themselves through music confidently.
Outside teaching, I continue practicing piano, exploring different musical styles, and improving my performance techniques. This helps me keep lessons fresh, engaging, and relevant for students. Teaching piano is meaningful to me because I see students grow in confidence, creativity, and musical understanding. Helping them enjoy music, strengthen their skills, and express themselves artistically is something I truly value, and I remain committed to supporting their long-term musical growth and success.

My piano lessons are designed to make learning music structured, engaging, and enjoyable for every student. I guide learners through important areas such as note reading, rhythm, hand coordination, scales, chords, finger exercises, and song performance using clear and step-by-step teaching methods. I focus on helping students understand musical concepts and playing techniques rather than simply memorizing notes. Each lesson includes guided practice, musical exercises, and performance activities that help students improve steadily and confidently.
Lessons are carefully planned according to the student’s learning level and musical goals. Beginners start with keyboard familiarity, finger placement, and simple melodies to build a strong musical foundation. Intermediate learners focus on rhythm control, smoother hand coordination, musical expression, and performance confidence. Advanced students work on advanced techniques, expressive interpretation, and stage performance skills. I provide regular feedback, practice guidance, and revision support to ensure continuous improvement and stronger musical understanding.
Learning piano also helps students improve concentration, coordination, patience, creativity, and self-discipline. As students begin playing songs independently and understanding music more deeply, they gain confidence and motivation to continue learning. Many learners who initially feel nervous about performing become more expressive and comfortable over time. My goal is to make piano lessons practical, meaningful, and inspiring. I want students to enjoy music, express themselves creatively, and develop strong musical abilities that support long-term artistic growth, confidence, and personal enjoyment.
