About Romy
My love for piano began with a fascination for the emotions and stories that music can express. This passion led me to complete a Bachelor's Degree in Music before earning a PhD in Piano Interpretation. During my 12 years of teaching experience, I have worked with students from many different backgrounds and skill levels.
I believe every learner deserves personalized guidance that balances technical growth with creative development. My teaching approach focuses on patience, encouragement, and helping students discover their unique musical voice. I enjoy supporting learners as they overcome challenges and achieve new milestones.
Outside teaching, I continue studying piano literature, performance practice, and musical analysis. These experiences help me bring depth and variety into every lesson. Watching students develop confidence and enjoyment through music remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My piano lessons are designed to help students build a strong connection between technique and musical expression. We work on note reading, rhythm accuracy, hand coordination, finger strength, sight reading, and listening skills through practical exercises and carefully selected repertoire. Each lesson encourages students to understand not only how to play music but also how to communicate through it.
As learners progress, we explore phrasing, articulation, dynamic control, pedal technique, musical storytelling, and performance preparation. Lessons are adapted to individual interests and goals, allowing students to grow in a way that feels meaningful and motivating. Regular guidance helps learners refine their skills while developing confidence in their musical choices.
I aim to create a supportive environment where students feel inspired to explore and improve. Every lesson encourages curiosity, discipline, and creativity. My goal is to help learners become confident pianists who can enjoy music throughout their lives.
