About Talia
I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance and Music Theory after years of focused study in instrumental technique, musical interpretation, and educational methods during my academic journey. During the past 7 years, I have guided students from many different backgrounds and skill levels, helping them improve through personalised instruction and supportive mentorship. Teaching piano allows me to combine creativity, communication, and emotional expression in a deeply rewarding way. I enjoy helping learners become more confident musicians through artistic growth.
My teaching style focuses on adaptability, patience, and balanced musical development. Some students improve best through technical repetition and structured exercises, while others respond more naturally to improvisation and creative exploration. I carefully adjust lessons according to each learner’s comfort level, confidence, and artistic goals. Along with technical improvement, I help students strengthen rhythm awareness, listening ability, expressive playing, and performance readiness. Building a welcoming and encouraging learning atmosphere remains one of my highest priorities as a teacher.
Outside teaching, I continue practising piano, exploring different musical styles, and studying educational approaches that help keep lessons engaging and inspiring. Music remains an important source of creativity and emotional expression in my life. One of the most fulfilling parts of teaching is seeing students become more expressive and self-assured throughout their musical journey. Helping learners enjoy music while developing long-term piano skills continues to motivate me greatly.

My piano lessons are designed to help students develop strong musical foundations while building confidence through supportive and engaging learning experiences. I teach rhythm accuracy, note reading, finger independence, hand coordination, expressive phrasing, and dynamic balance using practical exercises that feel approachable for learners at every level. Lessons also include ear training, duet practice, sight-reading activities, timing exercises, and improvisation sessions that help students improve naturally through regular practice. I create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring music while strengthening important technical skills step by step. Every lesson supports both technical growth and artistic creativity together.
Beginners focus on keyboard familiarity, posture, scales, and simple melodies through organised routines and patient instruction that build healthy playing habits gradually. Intermediate learners improve coordination between both hands, rhythmic consistency, expressive timing, and smoother musical transitions through guided exercises and structured studies. Advanced students focus on repertoire refinement, emotional interpretation, performance preparation, and stage confidence through detailed coaching sessions. I carefully adapt lessons according to each learner’s pace, personality, and musical interests so progress remains balanced and motivating throughout the learning process.
Learning piano should feel rewarding, inspiring, and personally meaningful. I encourage students to appreciate gradual improvement while building confidence through supportive feedback and consistent practice. Many learners become more expressive and independent as their musical understanding develops naturally over time. My goal is to help students strengthen both technical ability and artistic confidence while building a lasting connection with music.
