About Zara
I am a piano tutor with 7 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. My love for piano began through exploring beautiful melodies and discovering how music can communicate emotions without words.
I believe every learner deserves patient instruction and meaningful encouragement. My teaching style combines structured technical development with enjoyable musical activities, allowing students to improve naturally while building confidence and independence. I enjoy adapting lessons to match each student's personality, pace, and musical ambitions.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing piano works, arranging music, and learning about composers from different musical traditions. These experiences continue inspiring my lessons and help students appreciate the beauty, discipline, and creativity that piano offers.

My piano lessons are designed to help students enjoy learning while developing strong musical habits from the very first class. We begin with comfortable posture, relaxed hand movement, note recognition, rhythm accuracy, finger coordination, and simple keyboard exercises that create a reliable foundation. I explain every topic using clear, simple English and encourage students to understand each concept instead of rushing through it. Every lesson is filled with encouragement, practical demonstrations, and opportunities to build confidence through regular progress.
As learners gain experience, we explore scales, chord inversions, arpeggios, sight reading, pedal control, dynamics, phrasing, accompaniment patterns, and expressive performance. Students also work on ear training, musical memory, duet playing, and creative improvisation to become well-rounded musicians. Practice schedules are carefully planned according to individual goals so learning remains enjoyable, balanced, and rewarding throughout the journey.
My goal is to help students become confident pianists who enjoy expressing themselves through music. Every lesson strengthens technical accuracy, musical creativity, performance confidence, and appreciation for piano while encouraging lifelong enjoyment of learning.
