About Isola
With 10 years of experience as a pianist and educator, I have guided learners of all ages in developing not only technical skill but also confidence and musical expression. My teaching approach is fully tailored to each student’s goals, blending structured technique, sight-reading, and scales with opportunities for creative exploration, improvisation, and repertoire development. I draw extensively on my own performance experience and ensemble collaborations, bringing practical insights, inspiration, and real-world musicianship into every lesson. Students are encouraged to discover and refine their own musical voice while mastering technique, fostering independence, artistry, and a deeper understanding of music beyond the notes. Outside of teaching, I compose and perform regularly, keeping my own musicianship active and evolving. Regular reflective exercises and performance tasks reinforce progress and deepen musical understanding.
For students preparing for recitals or examinations, I provide structured practice strategies, memory techniques, and performance coaching. The goal is to make each lesson both productive and inspiring, balancing discipline with creativity to foster a lifelong connection to music.
