As a certified educator, active performer, conductor, pianist, and organist, I maintain the highest standards of musicianship and instruction. My lessons are tailored to each student’s individual goals, whether they are beginners learning fundamentals, school musicians seeking improvement, or adults returning to music after many years. As a public school band director, church musician, conductor, pianist, and organist, I bring a broad range of professional experience to every lesson. Your child will receive instruction from a highly experienced music educator with more than 23 years of successful teaching experience in public schools, private lessons, church music, and collegiate settings. I hold degrees from the University of Michigan and Central Michigan University and am currently pursuing a Doctor of Music Education degree. As an active pianist, organist, conductor, and Director of Bands for Ann Arbor Public Schools, I bring real-world professional expertise to every lesson. Families also enjoy the convenience of personalized, in-home instruction, eliminating travel time while providing students with focused, high-quality music education in a comfortable environment.
