About Keira
I am a piano tutor with 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. My love for the piano has grown through years of study, live performances, and helping students discover the joy of making music.
I believe every learner deserves patient instruction and lessons that balance technical development with creativity. My teaching style encourages students to build strong foundations while expressing themselves naturally through music and consistent practice.
Outside teaching, I enjoy composing short piano works, accompanying instrumentalists, and exploring music from different periods and styles. These experiences help me create fresh and inspiring lessons that encourage students to continue growing with confidence.

My piano lessons are designed to help students enjoy making music while building a strong technical foundation from the very beginning. We start with correct posture, relaxed hand movement, note reading, rhythm practice, finger independence, and simple melodies that develop confidence naturally. Every lesson includes demonstrations, guided practice, listening activities, and practical explanations that make learning clear and enjoyable. I encourage students to understand every musical idea instead of simply memorizing notes. A positive learning environment allows every learner to progress with confidence and enthusiasm.
As students become more experienced, we explore scales, arpeggios, chord progressions, sight reading, pedal control, dynamics, phrasing, ear training, duet playing, and creative improvisation. Lessons also include musical interpretation, performance preparation, rhythm exercises, and personalized practice routines that strengthen technique while encouraging artistic expression. Every lesson is adapted to suit each learner's musical interests, helping them improve steadily while enjoying the learning process.
My goal is to help students become confident pianists who play with accuracy, creativity, and musical understanding. Every lesson builds coordination, expression, and lasting confidence through enjoyable and meaningful practice.
