Piano lesson in NC for all ages. Personalized method for each student

Katherine is a very effective and patient teacher. She focuses on establishing solid fundamentals before moving on to more complicated pieces of music. She consistently reminds students to practice not only the music, but also ear training skills, and movement exercises to improve the overall quality of the student's playing. Katherine is an excellent communicator and has a solid knowledge of the skills required to be a successful violinist.

Katherine is a very thoughtful teacher who puts a tremendous amount of energy into all of her students, giving them the best possible experience learning violin. I have worked with Katherine for many years and have seen how fast her students progress as well as develop a love for their instrument. I can’t recommend her enough!

Katherine has been teaching my son the violin for over 2 years. She has been patient and kind to him and does not give up on him even when he hasn't practiced in weeks. Her rates are reasonable and fair, and she often stays later than promised. We know we can trust her with our son and in our home. She has become a friend to our whole family

Katherine is patient and focused. She has had wonderful training and knows how to keep lessons enjoyable and productive. She is an excellent teacher!
