About Alexander
I started studying piano when I was 12 years old and have continued playing since then. I went on to study piano in my undergraduate years of college. While I value the canon of classical music, I have always been an advocate for shining light on lesser-known composers from underrepresented demographics.

As a student, you will learn basic scales, arpeggios, standard repertoire throughout all of the major eras of classical music(e.g. Baroque, Classic, Romantic), and will receive instruction in basic music theory. We will mainly be working out of the Faber books, as well as study from some supplemental materials from time to time.
