About Alisanne
Music is my life. Since kindergarten, I've been playing the piano. I have both a Bachelor's and a Master's in Music Education from top universities in the southeast. As for performance, I have won several piano competitions including the Charleston International Piano Competition and the Glory International Piano Competition and am preparing for one of the top 5 piano competitions in the world-- the 2027 Cleveland International Piano Competition. I play traditional Western music (Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, etc) as well as music from less represented countries and composers. As for teaching, my students often find an instant connection with me. Some say I'm their favorite teacher. Parents tell me their child's relationship with the piano changed for the better after only 1 lesson!

I tailor my lessons to each individual student's goals. However, I use the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum as a template which includes repertoire, technique, ear training, sight reading, and more--everything you need to learn to be a well-rounded musician. In addition to being a piano tutor online for several years, I am also a certified K-12 music teacher. I teach all levels from beginning through advanced! If you choose me, you will reach your musical goals.
