About Selena
I am a piano tutor with 10 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Studies. My musical journey has been shaped by performance, teaching, and a lifelong appreciation for the expressive power of the piano.
I create lessons that balance discipline with creativity, allowing students to develop strong technique while discovering their own musical personality. Every learner receives patient guidance and encouragement throughout their progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy accompanying instrumentalists, composing short piano works, and exploring classical and contemporary repertoire. These experiences help me create inspiring lessons that encourage students to grow with confidence.

My piano lessons help students build strong musical foundations while enjoying the beauty of every piece they learn. We begin with posture, finger independence, note reading, rhythm exercises, and simple songs before progressing toward more advanced repertoire. Every lesson includes demonstrations, listening activities, guided repetition, and practical explanations that make learning both effective and enjoyable. Students are encouraged to play confidently, ask questions freely, and develop consistent practice habits that support long-term improvement.
As learners continue progressing, we study scales, arpeggios, chord voicing, sight reading, pedal technique, dynamics, phrasing, duet playing, and musical interpretation. Lessons also include ear training, improvisation, performance preparation, and rhythm development that strengthen both technical ability and artistic confidence. Learning plans are personalized so every student can achieve steady progress while enjoying music.
My objective is to help students become expressive pianists who appreciate both technical excellence and creative performance. Every lesson strengthens confidence, coordination, and musical understanding through enjoyable and meaningful learning.
