About Tayara
I have over 11 years of experience teaching piano to college students and enjoy helping them build strong musical skills with confidence. My teaching style is calm, supportive, and flexible, allowing each student to learn at a comfortable pace. I focus on piano fundamentals such as proper technique, rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory.
To keep lessons interesting, I use creative methods like improvisation, simple composition exercises, and modern music examples alongside classical training. I also guide students in developing performance confidence and expressive playing. My goal is to make piano learning enjoyable while helping students grow into confident and skilled musicians.

My piano teaching methodology is creative, structured, and student-focused. I aim to mentor students while helping them grow into confident, independent musicians.
Creativity is at the center of my lessons. Students explore songs they love, practice improvisation, and engage in creative exercises. This makes learning fun, inspiring, and motivating.
As a critical thinker, I guide students to understand rhythm, scales, chords, hand coordination, and musical expression. Complex concepts are simplified so students can learn effectively and improve steadily.
Accountability is emphasized through structured practice routines, goal setting, and regular progress tracking. This helps students stay disciplined, motivated, and responsible for their learning.
Along with piano, I teach music theory, sight reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, keyboard basics, and basic composition to strengthen overall musical skills.
