About Perry
Music has been a central part of my life since the age of 8, eventually leading me to earn an MMus in Piano Performance from the New England Conservatory in 2020. My formal training provides a strong foundation for the thoughtful and structured instruction I offer today.
I teach piano students from age 6 through adulthood, combining conservatory-level discipline with practical, personalized feedback. Lessons are designed to develop strong technique while helping students feel confident and expressive at the piano.
My instruction covers dynamics and musical expression, pop and contemporary styles, memorization techniques, posture and hand position, and sight transposition. My goal is to help each student develop both technical skill and a genuine connection with the music they play.

Pianism requires a rare balance of rigor and grace that I often find difficult to articulate without showing it. My 13 years of experience ensure that technical clarity remains the focus of our interaction.
We prioritize concert-stage discipline during our time together. I provide a short recorded playback of each session so students can review at home. This allows for a clear look at where the performance needs more care. It is helpful to hear the nuances exactly as they were played.
