About Sharon
I am a piano tutor with 12 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. I enjoy helping students achieve meaningful progress through encouraging lessons that balance discipline with creativity.
My teaching philosophy encourages careful learning, regular practice, and confident musical expression. I adapt every lesson to individual learning needs while helping students reach their full potential.
Outside teaching, I enjoy performing piano recitals, arranging classical works, and studying modern keyboard techniques. These experiences help me bring valuable performance knowledge into every lesson.

My piano lessons are designed to help students enjoy music while building dependable technical skills. We practice note reading, rhythm, finger coordination, scales, chord progressions, pedal technique, sight reading, dynamics, musical phrasing, and expressive playing through engaging exercises and enjoyable repertoire. Every lesson supports confidence through clear explanations and consistent progress.
As learners continue improving, we introduce improvisation, duet performance, accompaniment, ear training, recital preparation, interpretation, musical analysis, and structured practice planning. I provide thoughtful guidance that helps students become independent musicians while developing their own artistic voice.
My goal is to help students perform confidently while appreciating the beauty and discipline of piano music. Every lesson develops creativity, technical accuracy, and lifelong musical enjoyment.
