About Kenya
Technical posture and hand position, ear training, sight transposition, pop and contemporary styles, accompaniment skills, and sight playing form the foundation of my teaching approach. I focus on building strong fundamentals while helping students become more comfortable and expressive at the piano.
Over 13 years of teaching, I’ve watched hundreds of students grow by balancing focused practice with the joy of making music. Since earning my BMus from Manhattan School of Music, I’ve worked to help students develop the skills and confidence they need to perform at their best.
