About Stacey
"Teaching began as a simple requirement during my early music studies. Discipline matters more than raw intuition when building a solid foundation. My 6 years of experience emphasize memorization techniques and hand independence to ensure technical accuracy.
Sight reading and ear training form the core of my methodology. I rely on my MMus Piano Performance degree from Berklee to teach sight playing and music theory. Advanced concepts like sight transposition and dynamics and expression require structured practice."
