About Eric
I am a current student at Western University. I started piano at the age of seven!
I have passed RCM level eight theory and practical exams with honours and have been teaching for two years!
I enjoy many sports and play many myself.
As well as piano, I have also learned saxophone, and I have produced my own music as well.
I am open and encouraging of everyone's dreams in music and will do whatever I can to help my students achieve their dreams.

Depending on the students' goals, I will develop a plan suited to reach that target.
For RCM students, I follow the level requirements and ensure my students are well-prepared for exams.
A typical RCM student lesson:
1) Theory
2) Technical Requirements (scales, chords, ear training)
3) Practical Piano
4) Review weak points and talk about next steps to improve
Throughout the lesson, I take notes and write down homework. At the end of the lesson, I give my students my notes and let them know what key concepts and pieces they need to work on.
