About Kristen
After having earned my B.M. in 2012 and M.M. In 2014, I have been teaching piano to a studio of 35 students. I enjoy teaching children of all ages and abilities, as well as adults.
I participate in state and local professional development groups, organizing an annual composer showcase for students for one organization.
I have also served a local church as music director with 10 years of experience.

With over ten years of teaching experience, I feel comfortable with beginners through advanced levels, ages 6 - adult.
I particularly love helping students understand notation and harmony.
I use the move-able do solfège system to learn voice leading, harmony, and aural skills.
