About Frank
Hello! I'm Julius, a dedicated pianist and passionate music teacher with years of experience helping students of all ages discover (or rediscover) the joy of playing musical instruments. Whether you're a complete beginner dreaming of playing your favorite songs, a returning adult looking to pick up where you left off, or an intermediate/advanced player wanting to refine technique, build repertoire, or prepare for exams/performances — my lessons are designed around you and your musical goals.
What you can expect from lessons with me:
- Personalized approach: Every student is unique. I tailor each session to your current level, learning style, musical tastes and pace. No rigid one-size-fits-all method here.
- Strong fundamentals + real enjoyment: We build solid technique, music reading, rhythm, ear training, and music theory — but always in a way that's practical and fun, not dry or overwhelming. You'll play music you love from early on.
- Supportive & encouraging environment: I create a relaxed, positive space where mistakes are part of learning. You'll get clear, constructive feedback, achievable weekly goals, and lots of encouragement to keep you motivated.
- Practical guidance: Advice on practice routines, posture/hand position, efficient fingering, pedaling, expression, and even choosing/setting up your instrument (acoustic or digital).
- Flexible format: Online lessons via video call or in-person (depending on location), 45–60 minute sessions, with materials and practice suggestions provided.
My goal is simple: help you progress steadily while falling more deeply in love with music. Many of my students have gone from never touching a keyboard to confidently performing pieces they once thought impossible — and they had fun along the way!
